Berkeley, United States
The Story: Throughout my 5 year tenure at CAL, I will occasionally drive up the Berkeley hills to a spot my friend named "The View". It's a parking lot perched next to the Berkeley labs, and from there you can see the most amazing view of the bay with the Berkeley campanile, Oakland high risers, Frisco Bay Bridge... It's all there, and I can fit the whole of the bay in my palm. Every time I take in that view I get that feeling that the world is mine for the taking. So next time you're in the area and you feel like the world is getting too big to handle, give me a buzz and I'll show you a new place to grip it. "Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it" - Rudyard Kipling
